My Lovely Kitchen Enquiry & Booking Policy
Thank you for considering My Lovely Kitchen for your event. Below you will find information about how our enquiry and booking process works.
We aim to make the process as simple and smooth as possible.

Enquiries
All bookings begin with an enquiry through our website, email, or phone.
When contacting us, it is helpful to include:

• Event date

• Event location

• Type of event

• Estimated number of guests

• Catering style (canapés, buffet, dinner party, etc.)

Once we receive your enquiry, we will confirm our availability and provide a tailored quote based on your event requirements.

Quotes
Quotes are typically provided within 2–4 days depending on the complexity of the event.
Quotes are valid for 14 days and may be subject to change if guest numbers, menu choices, or event details change.

Securing Your Booking
To confirm your booking, we require:

• Initial retainer fee (50% of the total booking)

• Confirmation of your event details

Your event date will only be secured once the retainer fee has been received.

Final Guest Numbers
Final guest numbers must be confirmed 7 days before the event.
After this point we will do our best but may not be able to accommodate increases in guest numbers.

Final Payment
The remaining balance must be paid 48 hours before the event, unless otherwise agreed in advance.

Cancellations
If you need to cancel your booking, please notify us as soon as possible.
Please note:

• Retainers are non-refundable, as they secure your date and cover planning & preparation time.

• Cancellations made within 7 days of the event may be subject to additional charges depending on preparation already undertaken.
   

Dietary Requirements
We are happy to accommodate dietary requirements where possible.
Please inform us of any allergies or dietary needs when confirming your booking so we can plan accordingly.

Event Changes
If your event details change (guest numbers, location, timing, etc.), please inform us as soon as possible so we can adjust arrangements where possible.

As a small family-run catering business, we limit the number of events we take on to ensure every client receives our full attention.
